We provide data that illustrates the value of Neurofeedback training:

The chart below shows actual test results, which measure symptom severity for a client with brain injuries. The "Results of Neurofeedback Therapy" data illustrates the level of severity for various physical and cognitive challenges before and after participation in a Neurofeedback training program. The chart indicates that before Neurofeedback, this client tested relatively high on the severity scale, scoring an average of nine (9) out of ten (10) points. The client tested much lower, an average four (4) points, after the training. This constitutes a 50% decrease in the levels of symptom severity, which translates into a significant increase in quality of life.

Results of Neurofeedback Therapy

Two of the symptoms, temper and sleep disturbance, show negligible change, however, the temper severity tested low (2) before and after, so only the sleep disturbance tested consistently at a high level (8). Most of the remaining 21 symptoms show decreases in symptom severity of 30% - 50%, which indicate a positive increase in quality of life. In addition, the two most dramatic reductions in severity, sensitivity to noise and feeling helpless, dropped 8 points (80%). If no other symptoms are considered, these improvements alone demonstrate the value of Neurofeedback training for improving quality of life.
